Project Closeout
As the name implies, Project Closeout is the process or phase in the project, where we tie up all the loose ends necessary to finish the project. During this effort we need to ensure all the work is properly complete; all the systems work as designed; the building is clean; all project documentation is in order and necessary training is conducted; the project record is complete; and that the custody, operation and maintenance of the building is transferred to the owner. Efficient and non-disruptive completion of the punch list is critically important
By this point, many of the key project participants are mentally if not physically already on to the next project.
Navigator CS has been involved with close out for both contractors and owners and we know the detailed tracking and coordination efforts necessary to move smoothly through this phase so that the owner can confidently accept the fully completed facility and the contractor can receive final payment and release of bonds.
