Whether it is a building code requirement, an agency standard, a market driven need or simply an owner’s desire to practice sound environmental stewardship within their construction program, many public and privately owned construction projects are adhering to the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED ®) program or other similar sustainable construction programs.  Adherence to these programs require a higher level of design expertise and dedicated additional efforts during construction to fulfill.

Navigator CS personnel have experience in working with design teams in the selection and implementation of appropriate design features that conform to USGBC requirements to achieve LEED certification.  We likewise have worked with and on the construction teams to establish and carry out the necessary product procurement, installation, monitoring, documentation and reporting necessary to show compliance with the plan and seek the targeted LEED certification level.

Our team includes construction professionals certified as LEED APs with experience in sustainable construction, site designs, stormwater management and erosion control practices, energy efficiency considerations, indoor air quality, environmental balancing, building systems commissioning, hazardous materials abatement, and life cycle cost analysis – all of which are key components of the USGBC LEED program.
